Geraldine at the IYBA Monaco Summit
A two-day event covering key issues in yachting
Following on the success of the 2018 seminars, IYBA organized a 2-day event (27 and 28 November 2019) focused on educational and networking opportunities for IYBA members and industry professionals.
The well-attended symposium brought together shipyards, lawyers, insurance specialists, flag states, financial advisors and the brokerage and charter communities and included a cross-section of topical presentations and discussion panels ranging from contracts and market forecasting to VAT and yachting destinations.
Together with Carla Bellieni and Janet Xantholoulos, Geraldine took part in the VAT Panel “What’s new and important?” moderated by James Jaffa. The panel discussion covered a number of key areas including, mitigating VAT on yacht sales, importing US yachts and tenders and the ever-relevant discussions around duty-free fuel.
