Tenders and chase boats

IMPORTATION AND OPERATIONS
Tenders solely transporting guests between the mothership and the shore can be registered under the same registration as the mothership and are called “tender to”. A tender/chase boat used independently of the mothership or towed on its own bottom requires its own registration. "Tenders to" are imported under the same scheme as the mothership.

If a tender has its own registration, it's deemed to be a "second yacht" and some customs formalities are required on entering the EU.

H&V Yachting can assist in putting the required formalities in place.
